I'm a big Asian horror fan. I think that they are more scarier and more thoughtout but that's what I think.
I really like the eye 1-3,
The Red Shoes ,
Re-cycle,
One Missed Call
just to name afew .... _________________

The Red Shoes is the only one on your list I've heard of. I picked it up on a 4/$20 sale at Blockbuster. I thought it was pretty boring myself. The Grudge was one of those Japanese ones too right? Again, I thought it was boring.
Now I can get into some Romero movies... give me blood and gore and horribly funny and/or cheesey effects! There was a new Day of the Dead movie I picked up recently that was decent. Still haven't gotten my copy of Diary of the Dead though yet. The Feast (Wes Craven, not Romero) was the latest big ol' gorey horror film I picked up and it was pretty darn good... and not just because of Henry Rollins getting his pants ripped off hehe. I wouldn't reccommend it for any youngsters on the forum though. |

Yes I remembered that after I posted, but didn't feel like going back to mention something. But yes, that's the movie. It was pretty good.
There was another... some crazy WWI western front movie... gosh let me see if I can remember the title... Deathwatch, that was it. Man, what a crazy great movie. It's about British soldiers on the Western front. They take over a German trench and crazy gorey mayhem ensues. I won't give away much in case any of you want to see it, but I just have to say... living barbed wire... yes... That and a sexy evil German doesn't hurt... hehehe
Another great one, on more of a comedy note, was Black Sheep. What a funny movie. I love being able to laugh my ass off while some idiot gets their throat ripped out hehe...
I am a twisted, twisted little girl. |

The Audition was really great. The Suicide Club was....interesting....? And Battle Royale was totally awesome!
Oh yeah, check out "Attack the Gas Station." It's this totally silly Korean film about 4 friends who decide to just rob their local gas station because they are bored. I actually do a voice of one of the friends in the English version. That's how I even know about it.
LOL
